Telehealth
As always, particularly after the Covid-19 pandemic, your safety, health and well-being are my top priorities. This office is proud to serve clients full-time utilizing Telehealth visits via an online video-conferencing service that is free, secure and HIPAA-compliant.
This office has been utilizing Telehealth services for many years, prioritizing your privacy and confidentiality. Clients have reported Telehealth visits to be extremely useful, safe and convenient. Outcomes remain as successful as in-person office visits.
How It Works
For a Telehealth visit, the service to meet online is free. Our office is now using “Telehealth by Simple Practice” as our video conferencing and Telehealth communication service. This app is free for smartphones and tablets. No app is needed when using computers or laptops. If using a smartphone or tablet/Ipad for your next visit, please simply download the app for free before your next video Telehealth visit. It’s fast and easy. A stable internet connection is necessary, along with audio and video capability. For the best connection, please restart your device or computer prior to your appointment.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the risks surrounding us all, and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), encourage social distancing, wearing masks and washing hands. In my commitment to adhering to National, State and Local government guidelines, Telehealth has been highly successful for the safety, health and well-being of clients, their loved ones, myself, my loved ones and the greater good of the community to decrease as much risk as quickly as possible.
Office hours and cancellation policy are the same for Telehealth visits as for in-person office visits. As emails may not be seen, cancellations are only accepted by phone call, voicemail message at the phone number listed below, or using the private, HIPAA-compliant portal. A minimum of 48-hours notice is required to avoid paying the full cost of a missed weekday appointment, and a minimum of 72-hours notice is required to avoid paying the full cost of a missed weekend appointment. Insurance does not reimburse costs for missed appointments or late cancellations. There is no charge in cases of illness or dire medical emergencies.
